From what I saw in the link of the first page that eleri posted, it certainly DID seem like both the post and the first comment were, indeed, jokes. Not really even very snarky - just joking in line with the standard for what seems to be community norms. (I say seems because I've not actually spent any time in efw, so I cannot say with more certainty.)
