I'm bad at separating movies from their source material, even when they're so far apart as to be virtually unrecognizable beyond the basic premise. And I have a certain amount of nostalgic liking for the original "Escape to Witch Mountain" movie, even though it's terrible (much like "Labyrinth"), so I'm. . .skeptical. But I think if I managed to get amnesia and forget I'd read the book/seen the movie before seeing the remake, it could be a really fun ride.
