On his 100th day in office, Barack Obama enjoys high job approval ratings, no matter what poll you consult. But if a new survey by the New York Times is accurate, the president and some of his policies are significantly less popular with white Americans than with black Americans, and his sky-high ratings among African-Americans make some of his positions appear a bit more popular overall than they actually are.

This amuses me because what he wants to say, but can't, without losing his job, is that he feels black Americans don't actaully agree with what President Obama has done, but they feel obligated to say they approve of him because he's black. Watching him trip around that idea is somewhat amusing and yes, when you're trying to use weasel words to try to convey what you mean without actually saying what you mean, you tend to sound like an idiot.
