Countdown with Keith Olbermann premieres on Current TV tonight at 8:00 p.m. EDT. If you don't have Current TV, you can still watch it for free:
  1. You have to have iTunes.
  2. Click on iTunes Store.
  3. Click on TV Shows.
  4. Search for "Olbermann". One of the results will be "Countdown" on Current TV.
  5. Click on "Subscribe". This will download each show automatically every day.
I presume that it will also be shown on the Countdown site, and some of the other options such as Hulu or Netflix. If you find out about those options, please post them in comments.

Blah. One of the best things about the MSNBC version was that I could automatically sync up the podcast shortly after the show aired in the Eastern time zone and take it with me on the bus if I so choose. MSNBC could do this, why can't Current?

Oh, and I should note that the MSNBC version was the FULL SHOW, minus the commercials. And I could get it in audio or video versions.

They still do this for Rachel Maddow, but for reasons I have yet to uncover, not for any of the other prime time hosts (Ed Schulz, Lawrence O'Donnell, Cenk Uygur etc.)

Oh, I'm well aware of this - I still have a double-handful of them sitting in my iTunes at home (including the special Saturday broadcast after the Arizona shooting and his final episode on MSNBC).

Keith's exact words on the matter: the cable carriers won't let us - they put all new networks over a barrel on that

We can hope for a change in the future.
