'Michigan Medicaid' may well just refer to the fact that Medicaid is a federally funded program that is managed by each state individually. I routinely answer the phone 'New Jersey Medicaid', but my wages are sourced pretty much 50/50 between Uncle Sam and Uncle Sal.
