Convention Updates

Things are looking very good for me going to Confluence in Pittsburgh July 15-17. Unfortunately, their web domain has lapsed, so here (by way of Locus Online) is the pertinent information:
CONFLUENCE 2005 (Jul 15-17 '05)
Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport, Pittsburgh PA
GoH: Tamora Pierce
Featured Filker: Escape Key
Memb: $40
Info: Confluence
Box 3681
Pittsburgh PA 15230-3681
(412) 344-0456
email: confluence@spellcaster.org
website: http://www.parsec-sff.org/confluence
Randy Hoffman also can answer questions. The big reason why you might want to see me there? The resurrection of The Tom & Pete Show, with me and Pete Grubbs.

I've also been invited back to OryCon in Portland come November. I had a grand time when I was there in 1994, and my returning has been long overdue. And there are a few others which might sneak into the schedule. I'll let you know.

So... any cons near you I should know about?

Update: ConFluence's web site is back up.

Yes. Yes, it must. I'd ask if anyone has ever met both [livejournal.com profile] filkertom and [livejournal.com profile] mizmoose, but, um... I have. :-) You should definitely meet.

Well that leaves out being in the presence of Pete.

Now I just have to convince Jim he wants to go, too. You know, the guy who trapped me in his truck for a 5 hour drive, "forcing" me to listen to Tom Smith all the way....

Hm. Convincing him should be hard, then.
