What I find amusing is that every time there's a huge natural disaster, some wingnut finds a way to claim it's his god's "vengeance" on America for (fill in the blank: abortions, gays, divorce, whatever).

Yaknow, maybe if these things were hitting places like Rhose Island and Massachusetts and San Francisco, I might have pause to think. But no, the places generally getting clobbered the hardest are the Bible Belters themselves--Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi.

If I believed in a god, I might think he was saying something else there...
