Happy Birthday, Quentin Tarantino

On this date in 1963.

What's your favorite Tarantino movie, or bit from a Tarantino movie? My favorite movie by him would have to be Kill Bill, but I think my favorite individual bits are Cheech Marin's fantastic "Pussy" rant in From Dusk Till Dawn and the moment in Pulp Fiction when Willis and Travolta confront each other.

My favorite Tarantino movie is probably Pulp Fiction but my favorite moment (from one of his scripts anyway) is the Christopher Walken/Dennis Hopper scene from True Romance. It was absolutely perfect and the best acting from either actor in their careers.

True Romance was a thing of beauty. My favorite part was Brad Pitt playing a perfect replica of my college roommate.

Or maybe it was the hitman who decides to let the leading lady take her best shot at him with the swiss army awl before he'll kill her. Or Gary Oldman wigging out in the beginning. Or the doofus trying to get his bimbo girlfriend to hide the drugs before the traffic cop sees them.

The sheer number of prefect cameos in that movie was staggering.

And Val Kilmer playing Elvis convincing Christian Slater to kill people!
