The Bad And The Good

So far, InCon is fine. Ran into per_solo right away, already seen lots of nice folks, did "Spoiler Alert" at the Opening Ceremonies, had a fun couple of hours at the open filk with Juanita and one of the Bards and ghosts_on_tv42 and about twenty-five other folks. Tonight should be better, as Wild Mercy and Moonwolf should be there as well.

Getting here... another story. Another van story. I'm getting a little tired of these.

Heh. Tired. I made a funny. Not.

Something -- debris, bad road work, I dunno -- slashed into my tires at Exit 109 on the southbound I-69. Two tires took significant damage. Left rear tire basically disintegrated. Thankfully, I felt it going, and was able to get to the side of the road safely. Called AAA. A nice cop came by and waited with me. Pro Tow guy was very good, and got me to Discount Tire. Which wasn't. But I've got four new ones. I needed to get 'em... I was just planning to do so after Dragon*Con, y'know? When I had money.

Sigh.

So, my concert today is going to be amazingly amazing. 'Cause I've gotta sell CDs.
