ConFluence, MidSouthCon, and Open Thread

I've accepted an invitation from MidSouthCon in Memphis to be their Filk GOH next March 24-26 (for those keeping score, that's the weekend after MillenniCon). Haven't been down that way in a loooong time, so this should be fun.

As a reminder (I'll do so again later in the week), I'll be at ConFluence in Pittsburgh this Saturday and Sunday, including the rollicking return of The Tom & Pete Show.

And, I'll be away from the computer for a couple of days. Back by Wednesday. Consider this an open thread -- have fun, play nice.

did you ever make a decision about conglom (if you did and I missed it I apologize. It makes a difference as it may be the deciding factor on if I go at all.

i'm doing what i can to beat ear x-tacy into submission regarding sponsorship for con. at the very, very least, your membership to conglom is already comped, under our "once a guest, always a guest" policy.

This could even get ME back to MidSouthCon next spring. It has been YEARS since I went to one, though there are generally a handful of Little Rock folks there.
