Happy Birthday, Bill Cosby

July. July Twelfth.

So, what's your favorite Cosby routine? Mine, hands down, is "Tonsils", followed immediately by "Chicken Heart".

It's a good day to have a birthday. Besides Bill Cosby and me, there's Henry David Thoreau, Julius Caesar (that date might be debatable), pianist Glenn Gould, skater Kristi Yamaguchi, actress Cheryl Ladd, and maniac exercise guru Richard Simmons.

My favorite Cos routine is probably "Why is there air?"

and maniac exercise guru Richard Simmons.

You said the magic words!

The entire Richard Simmons episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway

I'll have to save and watch this later (no sound right now).

I forgot to mention that I actually KNOW Richard Simmons. And yes, he's always been like that, though he didn't wear the tiny shorts back then ;)

I was a huge fan (you should pardon the pun) of his original TV show back in the early 80's - I'm recalling an episode where Betty White came on and started making fried bologna sandwiches, to his abject horror. ;-) And I had just been thinking that I'd love to spend time with him off-camera.
