Clicky Click

The Hunger Site (and its associated sites, accessible by different tabs at the top of the page) is one of the easiest ways you can help people you've never even seen. A few mouse clicks every day, and you provide food and books and health care for children, help save some rain forest, rescue some animals. There's also some pretty nice merch (which also raises funds) from their various sponsors.

One of the associated sites, The Breast Cancer Site, is trying for 8 million clicks in June. If they get it, their premier sponsor, Bare Necessities, kicks in an extra $10,000 for mammograms. It's only the morning of the 4th, and they're already 7% of the way there. Click in, won't you?

Has It Really Been Nineteen Years?

Never forget that a simple act by one man can capture the hearts and minds of the world.

How are you going to change the world today? I'm gonna finish that commissioned song, take back some bottles, and work on a web page update.

Gotta Love That Spam

Just got something from "GINNY", with the subject line, "DIVINE MERCY". Sorry, kiddo -- I'm Harry/Hermione all the way.

And there have been a whole lotta notices about movie acting jobs in my area, investment opportunities in Costa Rica (all from exactly the same person), concerns about dialysis and the Fenatyl patch (not together), and many, many things from a Mr. Song Lile.

Anything good in your filter?

Concerts In Your Home

Shameless Self-Promotion, Part One.

You're probably aware that I've been doing house concerts off and on for the past few years. They've been a blast, one and all, and I want to do more. A lot more. But there's still a lot of confusion and trepidation about what's involved.

So I've hooked up with a nifty site, Concerts In Your Home, that acts as a clearinghouse for artists, hosts, and potential hosts. Lots of information, resources, and artists. Feel free to pass on my page to anyone you think might be interested in hosting me, and aim them here for a brief YouTube intro to the concept.

SS-P,PT coming soon. ;)

So, who would you want to see, or host, in a house concert? Go wild. One day I hope to have a place where I could host Christine Lavin or Uncle Bonsai or JoCo.
