Sometimes I think we're going to have to rerun the March for Women's Lives each and every year until people get it through their heads just how many hundreds of thousands of people are willing to stand up and be counted as pro-contraception, pro-choice, and pro-woman.

The latest crapola is to say that abortion hurts women, so we can't have it. 'Cause of course us poor little dears can't make up our own friggin' minds on the subject!

As frustrating and pathetic and dangerous as fundamentalists can be, please rememember that they are afraid. For them, God's love is conditional, and his punishment is collective.

And right there we've got one of those Things People Need To Keep In Mind when talking either with or about those guys.

I've heard it claimed that if an embryo were put into a man's body, there is at least a possibility that it would form a placenta and the fetus would develop properly to term. The problem is that the baby couldn't be delivered, even surgically, without the host bleeding to death.

So I say men who oppose abortion should be required to have a pregnancy.

Nothing pisses me off like those who would take away others' rights to something they know they themselves would never want. "*I* don't want that, so it's not important for *you*. *I* see a negative side to it, so since it's not important anyway, obviously it should be banned."

Oh is that why our local members of the American Taliban were out in front of the clinic today? My only regert was that I couldn't stop and donate some money to the clinic right now since I'm a little tight on funds myself.

This fact I did not know (the bleeding to death part, the non-sugical delivery part was obvious). While this does change the arguement a little, it does not change the fact that this is a right that should NOT be taken away, period!

It really struck a chord with me, because over the past couple years I've begun to really realize how frightened they are of everything. And one of the things they're most frightened of is that their God might not be everything they believe Him to be.
