Coming Soon: New Haunted Mansion Merch
Mar. 2nd, 2013 01:43 pmAnd it's great. I want that hourglass. And the coasters. And the music box. AND THE PRICES DAMMIT. (Although the comments have more information, including the approximate release schedule.)
What Disney merch do you have that's really cool? I've got a bunch of the cloisonne trading pins, a table-top Christmas tree, metal Christmas ornaments from various years, some excellent fridge magnets, and a lovely Mickey trivet.

New OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL Poster
Dec. 19th, 2012 07:43 amMan oh man, do I want this movie to not suck.
If you've seen Disney's Wreck-It Ralph (and, if not, WHY THE HECK NOT!? GO! NOW! IT'S WONDERFUL), you've also seen the short film Paperman. Bleeding Cool has a nice little feature on it, without any major spoilers (basically, it describes the premise, and the marvelous new technology they made it with).
In related news, Pixar's Brave is out on disk today. Who's getting it?

Farewell, Ginny Tyler
Jul. 23rd, 2012 07:40 pmAgain, great sadness. Disney Legend Ginny Tyler has passed away at the age of 86. She was an official storyteller at Disneyland; she was a stellar voice actress, doing everything from the singing of the animals in "Jolly Holiday" in Mary Poppins to Jan in Space Ghost to Polynesia the Parrot in the Rex Harrison Doctor Doolittle. She made the world happier, and she will be missed.
Courtesy of io9, a crowd pulse on SDCC's apparent winners and losers, and various and sundry cool sights.
Also, the trailer for Disney's Oz the Great and Powerful:
and an excellent kids' Iron Man costume collection with a very special guest star.
What projects over the next couple of years are you looking forward to? I, obviously, am champing at the bit for The Hobbit, the Marvel movies, and the Godzilla reboot.
ETA: Oh, and, the new Frankenweenie trailer:
