When I saw the wall-to-wall coverage for Anna Nicole Smith's death, two thoughts entered my fever-laden head:

1. You'd think she was a head of state for the amount of news coverage she's getting
2. How is KLIV going to break into this to give us some real news?

A well done column, indeed. Just as tragic, the Smith story is going to get about a hundred times as much attention as the death of Molly Ivins, who spent her life fighting to make a real difference.
