I confess I don't read your blog regularly, Tom. And I finally registered an account w/LJ so I could join communities and post comments.

I don't know how long you've been using twittinesis.com but thanks for the heads-up on it. It's exactly the kind of tool I've been trying to find for microblogging to tie Twitter in with my blog rather than just being on a sidebar (and not being archived).

Looking forward to seeing you rock the cash bar at Dragon*Con.

No problem, welcome, and, yeah, ain't it cool? It's actually tied in to a Ping.fm account, which lets me simultaneously post to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, and Blogger. So you might want to check that out as well.

I've been a ping.fm user for a while -- another fump artist gave me a heads-up on it.

I tried using it for microblogging to tie in the blog with facebook and twitter, but when it posted on my blog it was too different from my blog's format and looked ugly -- like one of those spammy automated blogs that pulls off Google Alerts.

But twittinesis solves that problem with a capsule post in a bulleted format, and will allow me to archive Twitter posts on the blog (so I can remove the cluttered Twitter sidebar).

Very useful tool indeed. Thanks again.
