- This weekend, I'll be at ConText in Columbus, OH. Lotsa guests this year.
billroper is the Filk GOH, and we should have a grand time and at least one Skyline Chili run. - There's a contest that numerous people have told me about, to write a NASA wake-up song. I wonder what they have in mind....
- We're nine pages into Duel In The Somme, a 24-page online comic adaptation of a Ben Bova short story, scripted by Rob Balder and drawn by Bill Holbrook.
- Definitely don't forget Gutters and Looking For Group.
- Dunno how long it's gonna be free, but if you've got an iPhone or iPod, you might want to check out Harry Potter: Spells, a magical dueling game where you make wand movements with your hand, and the motion trackers in the iPhone translate it into game zaps.

What’s in this episode? Comedy tracks by Flat 29 (yes, again, shut up), Rachel Bloom, The Dead Alewives, The Guild, and Digital Underground. There’s an incredibly biased review of Luke’s latest product offering "What A Ripoff! Volume 2" by loyal Bad Rapport listeners Crazy St. Louis Fanboy & Fangirl. - "WHAT A RIPOFF! VOLUME 2" album for sale at Luke Ski dot com!
"What A Ripoff! Volume 2" continues in the tradition of Volume 1, wherein Luke attempts to get his hands on more money from his fans so he can pay off the cost of his wedding. This album is made up of tracks Luke Ski has produced over the past few years that did not end up on either "Target: Audience" or "Too Much Stuff", some of which have never been heard anywhere before. It also has cover versions and parodies of Luke Ski tracks by Tom Smith, Steve Goodie, Devo Spice, as well as cameos by Carrie Dahlby, Worm Quartet, Insane Ian, Soggy Potato Chips, and many other FuMPers (see "Explained Outtakes Part 2"). There's also a couple of spoken word tracks, including the infamous original version of "True Tales Of Ignorance From The Caricature Stand". The album has been described by Ken "Madman on the Loose" Sherlock as, quote, "worth getting".

Date: 2010-08-27 12:42 am (UTC)Also, I am a seamstress looking for work so that I might save up money for a new car. My previous one ate itself and I require a new (to me, anyway) one in order to get a job and more easily facilitate my getting back and forth to school. I make custom corsets, capes, skirts, dresses, cloaks, shirts, or just about anything else you might want. I am more than willing to work from custom designs (your own or one you have the rights to use, please) or commercial patterns. You supply the materials, I supply the labor, you get a nifty something, and I get that much closer to obtaining a vehicle. If you are interested, please send me a private message here on LJ or email me at robin_firesong (at) yahoo (dot) com for more information.
