(duplicated from the original contest thread)

Good morning, gang! I tallied all the votes, and the clear winner was "They're Mismanaging Our Satellite!" The winning style was Gilbert & Sullivan, and I'll be getting that up on the Free Stuff page by Saturday morning. (It's possible at least one other song will come out of this; the second-place vote-getters, "Transylvanian Monkeys on Speed" and "Schoolhouse Rock" are just too delightful.)

[livejournal.com profile] dbcooper made the winning suggestion, and [livejournal.com profile] djonn got the "voter who was picked randomly" award. I'll get back to you two in a day or so as to what you win.

Thanks to everyone who participated!

By way of Atrios, we get a magnificent commentary at The Light of Reason on (a) why exactly what's happened at Abu Ghraib is unequivocally, unspeakably wrong and (b) why Fox News is unequivocally, unspeakably wrong.

In case you didn't see the 10-minute preview for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Sunday night, you can watch it here.

Update: You can also get the Saturday Night Live sketch from a couple of weeks ago, starring Lindsay Lohan as Hermione with, ahem, cleavage, here (MPG format, 41 MB). Grainy video, good if not great audio, very good HP canonical representation, instant Lindsay Lohan worship. B-P
