A much simpler, much brighter note: For years and years, I've been meaning to get the musical Scrooge on DVD. Apart from the animated Grinch, it's my favorite holiday film. I've never seen it in stores, and was finally going to order it from Amazon.

Found it in Meijer yesterday. Widescreen.

Love love love this movie. Just love it. Albert Finney is great. Sir Alec Guiness is great. The songs are great. It's all great. And I can watch all the bell-ringers at once in widescreen.
