Good Day

Finished up and sent out the commissioned song. Got a CD-R out to a friend of isolde_deely. Just had Lunch Special B from The Old Siam (fried rice, pad thai, spring roll, shrimp, spicy sauce). Happy happy. Joy joy.

It's amazing how having at least one of the things on your plate off your plate can be such a relief. It was a big'un, and it's gone, and now I can get to other stuff. Like the web page. And new music.

And, on top of everything else, I'm going to see Christine Lavin tomorrow night at The Ark. :)

Weather

A long thin line of storms beat up Minnesota and Wisconsin, has just pummeled Chicago and St. Louis, and it's heading across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky like a squeegee. Tornado watches all over the place. Hunker down, mmkay? And sound off when it's past.

ETA: Aaaaaand the tornado watch is over. Looks as if there's still a buttload o' rain coming, though -- a straight line of storms coming up from Indy right over Ann Arbor, moving NNE faster than it's moving East. So I'm gonna power down once more, and I'll catch you all tomorrow.
