And now, we've got Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA), a medical doctor, mind you, who tells a constituent who's gone into debt because he can't afford insurance for his major depressive disorder:
These people are monsters.

... people who have depression, who have chronic diseases in this country…can always get care in this country by going to the emergency room.He goes on to point out that this is the most expensive way to get health care. Excellent advice there, doc. (At that point, someone else in the room yells out, "That's why we need a public option!")
