You've likely heard about the floor speech by Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) earlier this week, wherein he categorized the Republican health care "plan" as:
  1. Don't get sick
  2. If you do get sick...
  3. Die quickly
The link above includes video of that, and also of his "apology" prompted by the faux outrage of Repubs in the House. How can you say such a thing! they cry. Lou Dobbs got particularly cranked off. Never mind that they've been saying worse for awhile.

And now, we've got Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA), a medical doctor, mind you, who tells a constituent who's gone into debt because he can't afford insurance for his major depressive disorder:
... people who have depression, who have chronic diseases in this country…can always get care in this country by going to the emergency room.
He goes on to point out that this is the most expensive way to get health care. Excellent advice there, doc. (At that point, someone else in the room yells out, "That's why we need a public option!")

These people are monsters.
