RIP: John Moore

Great sadness from last week, as we lost a member of the family. I apologize for not posting in a timely manner. By way of vixyish:

I am sorry to say that the Pacific Northwest has lost another wonderful filker.

John Moore, local filker, Seattle Knight, and Pirate of Puget Sound, passed away from a heart attack last Sunday while working on set at the shoot of Journey Quest. His good friend and fellow member of the singing group A Little Knight Music delivered the sad news to the Pacific Northwest filk mailing list a couple of days ago. I have been having trouble believing it.

John had a delightful voice and a ready grin. I always saw him with a smile and a kind word for everyone; he was always about lifting people up and making them laugh and making them happy. He will be sorely missed.

The service was last Saturday, the 13th. Condolences, hugs, and gentle songs to John's family and friends.
