Violet Eyes To Die For

Sadness. Film legend Elizabeth Taylor has passed away at the age of 79.

What are your favorite movies with Liz?

ETA: For some reason, it didn't occur to me to mention Ms. Taylor's tireless activism for the gay community, particularly regarding AIDS research. I darn well should have. Thanks for all you did, Liz.

To Those Who Donated

The folder for those wonderful folks who donated a couple of weeks ago has two shiny new, big honkin' files, iTC_110319_MillenniCon_1.mp3 and iTC_110319_MillenniCon_2.mp3. These are my concerts from this past weekend; the first is an hour and a half of main concert, and the second is the Masquerade Halftime concert, with a fair amount of banter and schtick in both and the song I wrote for MillenniCon, "Keepers of the New Millennium", at the end of the second one. Since it took me a couple of days to get these files uploaded, I'll keep the folder going until Sunday night.

Looking For Izotope RX 2

There is a wondrous piece of software out there, Isotope RX2. If you don't know what it is, you don't need to worry about it. If you do know, chances are decent that you either have it, or know someone who has it.

If that is the case, I'd like to talk to you about borrowing or renting the use of it.

(There are a few of you who might be tempted to go out there and buy it for me. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT FOR ME. This is pro audio software, a few hundred dollars' worth, and if I can't get to it free or cheap, I'm not going to worry about it right now. Thank you.)
