2012 Grammy Winners

All here. Do scroll all the way down -- the "lesser" awards and the technical awards are fascinating, and you'll find at least two or three things you didn't know existed that you'll likely want to check out.

Big night for Adele, Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift, Jay Z, Kanye. I am not a fan of Kanye, and I've only heard a little of Jay Z (although I did like that), but I don't know if I'm more pleased for Adele and her huge voice, Taylor for her variety and energy, or the Foo Fighters for just pluggin' away at what they do best.

They Actually Are Going There: Update

It's gotten a touch tangled over the weekend, so here with a cogent and concise summation of the whole Congress vs. Contraception flap is Steve Benen, to my mind one of the absolute best bloggers out there. He recently moved to The Rachel Maddow Show blog from Washington Monthly, and he's my go-to guy for quick, accurate analysis.
