New Season of TOP CHEF -- Spoiler Thread

Holy frijoles. Serves me right for paying too much attention to politics. Last night a new season of Top Chef began.

Season Ten. Wow. And Padma's intro has me hooked from the get-go: The chefs will compete in challenges designed by, and restaurants owned by, the judges -- Hugh Acheson, Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang frickin' Puck, and of course Tom Colicchio.

Just downloaded the ep, so I'll post my reaction in comments later.

Just One Angel

huskiebear informs us of the Just One Angel Tour, featuring Christine Lavin, Uncle Bonsai, and special guests (varying with each show) in a charity concert. There's also a new holiday album to go with it.

If, for some reason, this does not excite you beyond all belief, why, that must mean you haven't seen the incredible Ms. Lavin or the equally magnificent Uncle Bonsai.
