Wait. It's Freakin' SEPTEMBER!?
Sep. 1st, 2010 07:07 amI ain't ready.
I'm trying to get out the door to Dragon*Con this morning (I am not going to attempt to replicate my drive to Pi-Con, thank you very much), and there are still forty-six bazillion things that must be done. But, ready or not, it's time.
Aiee.
At least it's a straight shot down I-75. Very well-known territory. Only two major metropolitan areas to plunge through before Atlanta (Cincinnati and Knoxville; Dayton and Lexington really don't count, the latter because you circumnavigate the city, the former because you're in and out of the bad part in less than ten minutes).
Depending on timing and the weather 'n' stuff, maybe on the way out of Atlanta I can hit that lovely little Barbecue Kitchen over near the GAFilk hotel.
But that... that is several days from now. Today, the road. Tomorrow, the hotel. Friday, Dragon*Con.
I repeat: Aiee.
What are your plans for Labor Day Weekend?
