A dark and kinky turn on the Disney icons. (h/t [profile] drzarron)

Which Disney characters do you... think about? 'Fess up, you know you do. Which ones hit various buttons? Mine would be Belle (who actually hits the "nice girl you could easily fall in love with" button), Jasmine, and -- in some of the darker dreams -- Alice (grown-up, thank you), Aurora, and Tinker Bell.

Aerial, for the innocent bit, because I'm a SUCKER for a pretty voice. Jasmine, of course. Maid Marian, Belle, and Jane. In that order. In the same thought.

Oh, yes. I've been following him on DA for a while now. I particularly like his take on Jasmine and Pocahontas. Not so much for Alice, though.

I don't actually think about any of them, but...dayum, I love his takes on Alice and Snow White!

Forever more, it will be Snow White (http://www.thefump.com/fump.php?id=1176) that I 'think' about. :-)

She had more meat on her bones last year when they first did the sexy Princesses, and apparently thought she didn't look good enough, so she spent the year working out. (Or so I heard from someone who knows her).

I thought you were going to post this:

I liked Thomas in Pocahontas, for some reason. He was pretty cute... Okay, he still is. *sigh*

Well, that's specifically why I said, "Disney characters". (I could've also thrown in Maleficent.) But they don't market the Disney princes to anywhere near the extent they do the princesses.

After careful thinking... not a single one. None of 'em float my boat.

My taste in mainstream animated honeys goes more to Jessica Rabbit (technically Disney, but...) and Tex Avery's Red than to the saccharine-sweet, Simon-pure songstresses Disney cranks out.

long, long ago... there was a disney robin hood. with foxes.
i was young and impressionable, and Robin Hood was (ahem) very foxy... i blame them for my life of anime and furry comics......

Alas, an example of the belt tightening in the post-Walk era.

BTW: The Belle/Beast dance was an homage, done on purpose.

Hrm.. Always thought about the darker side of Mary Poppins, but that's another story.

I'd have to lean towards Belle (Smart, self-sufficient) or Pocahontas (Strong, insightful and sucky taste in men). Jane has always been a favorite of mine, love that she embraces the jungle as time goes on.

After this spread, none of them, thanks! :)

None of the princesses, at all. Though I must say I haven't actually seen every Disney movie with a princess in it, apparently.

Someone mentioned Jessica Rabbit though...

Yeah, the Belle/Beast dance doesn't quite fit in with the rest. I actually think it was pretty smart of them to reuse templates that way. It saved time and money, and I doubt many people would have noticed before video.
