There is every chance that, later this morning, I will have a tooth pulled.

Besides not really being able to afford it, it's just a frickin' pain, literally. I will do my best not to be snappish for the next day or so, but please forgive me in advance if I am.

Ideally, I will feel much better for my appearance tomorrow at Comic City of Canton, 42727 Ford Road in Canton, MI, for Free Comic Book Day, along with Mad World Radio.

How's your day/weekend looking?

ETA: I thought it was the upper right wisdom tooth, the one I started to get a root canal for last fall but couldn't afford to finish at the time. Turns out that's actually still salvageable (and, as I just found out, not fully paid for). But the one in front of it has to be extracted. Next week, most likely. So I has Cipro and I has Ibuprofen, and we'll see what happens from there.

I have much sympathy for dental pain, and I hope yours can be managed with as little distress as possible.

I'm sorry about having the tooth pulled. I hope it goes well. I had a wisdom tooth pulled years ago when it impacted. I just got fired and was using my last week of being covered on health insurance. That I could deal with, it was the sounds that were the worst.

This weekend is a bit busy. I have a game tonight, some shopping tomorrow morning/noon, another game in the afternoon/evening, then Sunday I hope to go see Thor. Plus I need to give extra attention to my cats this weekend since I've been so occupied the last few weeks.

Busy. Yesterday, I got a new permanent crown, which thankfully went a whole lot better than the one I got last year. Tonight, we have tickets to see the Ann Arbor Civic Theater production of Noel Coward's "Hay Fever". Tomorrow, I'm participating in the Walk for MS Research, then picking up the Free Comic Book Day comics, then, in the evening, playing poker with friends. Sunday, I'm taking Sharon and my mother out for a Mother's Day Brunch.

Sincere sympathies on the tooth. Keep us posted.

I hope the tooth thing goes as well as it can.

We have two soccer games this weekend, one each day. I'm desperately hoping the weather is good because sitting out there, watching the games, isn't fun when it's cold and/or rainy. We'll probably go out to dinner on Sunday.

Ouch on the tooth. I hope you are feeling better ASAP.

As for the weekend, I need to get some permission requests out for the Contata CD for all members. (You are on the short list of whom I still have to email.)

My teeth hurt in sympathy. Dental work is never a pleasant way to spend a day. :-(

This weekend isn't exactly planned for me beyond going to see Jonathan Coulton in concert tonight... which is happening literally right after I pick up Will from the train station. (He's coming with me) The timing is insanely tight, but I love crazy logistics, and I always have a great time at the show.

Though I think the immense plates of nachos you can get at Birchmere are probably part of that... ;-)

Sorry about your tooth.

I took a day off the canoe yesterday, so must get back to it--carefully, so as not to hurt my back / neck.

Also I have been beating my head against the computer trying to get Audacity installed and the reverb VST plug-in working on my Intel Mac. I am about to give up on the last stable version and try the beta, in desperation.

My son had a tooth pulled about a month ago and was feeling much better even the following day. I hope your's is as painless and easy as possible.

I'm moving the last of my stuff out of the storage unit and to the new digs, trying to empty a bunch of boxes in the dining room, and then clean the kitchen. Which means more emptying of boxes & trying to find a home for the tall liquor bottles. Besides ma bellah!

Will be thinking good healing dental thoughts in your direction :). *hugs*

Am just looking forward to the warming temps and potential sunlight breaks amidst the rainfall - which were both incredibly successful hopes today. Also hoping to keep taking it easy wrt healing without too much guilting myself over doing it *lol*.

Eep! Good luck with the dentistry. My day looks pretty dull tomorrow. About when might I hear you singing at the comic shop, should I take a mind to heading that way?

Likely between noonish and threeish. Don't have more specifics, because I don't know what MWR and the owner of the shop have in mind....

The Cinematic Titanic folks were at the Castro Theatre in SF (Joel, Trace, Frank, Mary Jo, Josh) trashing "Samson and the Seven Miracles of the World" and "Rattlers" (I stayed for the first film only).

My sympathies on your teefs. I still remember getting all my wisdoms out the day before Thanksgiving in my college years.

Good luck on the tooth. Consider this a vote for Vicodin. Every two hours.
