I had a hard time trying to figure out the era. It looked so 50s but it also had modern elements mixed in. (The double beds in a couple's room was a big clue.) Looks like fun.

It's possible this is a cleverly-edited trailer, where they took the elements of a sub-plot and played them up to make them look like the main focus of the movie.
