I thought the audio was only, erm, OK... and then I saw this.

Oh, dear...

Like you, I was... okay with the recording. The video WINS.

The one track that got me was Amy Lee doing "Halfway Down the Stairs." She does a pretty nice Loreena McKennitt impression.

Their version of the song isn't bad... but the video is great.

I thought it was OK (song and video), and an interesting reimagining of the original. The bit at the end dragged quite a lot. (OK, we've used that gag now...please stop beating it to death, someone else might want to use it later this decade.)

Addendum: having seen it now, to be honest the repetition/riffs on the end are true core Muppet humor. "You're not a dog." "Baaaaark?"

Agreed. It's like Monty Python, they repeat a joke until it's no longer funny then keep repeating it again and the joke becomes how much they're repeating it.

The music and video work well together. I liked how the Muppets were puppeteering OK Go. Nice juxtaposition.

Has anyone ever woken up from a strange dream screaming and bloting upright?

No, the blots generally happen while I'm asleep. (Because I forgot to cap my pen before falling asleep at my desk. Of course.)

I agree that the Muppets...muppetteering?...OK Go was a nice touch.

Only once, and that was because I was throwing a pillow at the rattlesnakes I dreamed were at the foot of my bed.

Yes, when I was young. In my teens my dreams became lucid enough that one night I told my subsconscious, "I'm not having this kind of dream anymore."

Now I have nothing worse than anxiety dreams, and my early-AM awakenings come more from bodily function calls, the extremely loud AC unit right over my bed that just barely runs, or the light pollution from the computer or from the ten kazillion "I'm plugged in, my LED tells you so!" gadgets around me.
