The last sixteen hours have been kind of insane.

See, my glasses broke.

I can take care of it -- but money is a little tight right now. And I wondered, What can I do to defray some of the cost of this? And then I heard my local NPR station.

So I'm blind, 'cause these lemon glasses fell apart, and I'm having a pledge drive. And your benefit for donating is a new song, written for the occasion and recorded as fast as I have ever recorded such a thing.

OH! Finally read JLA #4 this morning...WOW, oh Wow. Just the cover had me hooked, but the storyline kicked butt as well.

So at I can tell people at the Con this week that I have a NEW Tom Smith song, that they've never heard before. (I love the fact that I actually now know a whole bunch of people who can appreciate this properly)

And I'm workin' on it.... Acid Pro lets me arrange much more quickly and realistically than anything I've used before. I'm still doing a lot of MIDI with SuperJAM, but the two of them together is an awesome force. You'll see soon... possibly MarCon, certainly by midsummer. (/does Happy Dance of New Album)
