No kidding on this one, gang. I'm gonna have a song in a movie.

And what a movie. A little independent film that I think you will love. A piece of work with a great script, a script which called for a song it turned out I wrote (and re-wrote, and re-wrote, but the end result is I think pretty darn good). A flick which is gonna be getting a lot of interesting play over the next couple of months at various conventions. A beastie you should be able to buy on DVD no later than mid-June.

And what's the name of this wondrous creation?

Saving Star Wars.

Well? What news more? Is George Lucas *really* in it? Which of your songs is in it?

No LJ bytes here, man!

Congratulations, by the way. ;-)

Not Really George Lucas. Convincing lookalike.

"Padme Amidala". The fully remixed version, one way or another, will be on And They Say I've Got Talent.

And thanks. I'm really looking forward to this.

For the first time, in my life... I may just have to watch something Star Wars related.

Congrats, or you have my deepest sympathies. Take your choice. ;)

Congrats

Well, I can tell you that the world premiere is an invite-only shindig in Indianapolis on the 23rd, with a second showing June 9. So, no, it won't be showing at BaltiCon. But I think the retail version is going to be available not too long after that. I'll likely be selling it on the main site.

Oh, absolutely, congrats. I've read the script. It rocks. And my beating on the song has turned it from a fun throwaway, performed once, to something I might have to work into the repertoire, which will require carrying around a CD player....
