I'm back. And I'm not even going to bother going into an exploration and/or review of this one.

If you've already been, you know what I mean when I say, Go again.

Tremendously fun and funny, wonderful story, lotsa twists (although I saw a few of the big ones coming -- but I guarantee I wasn't drumming my fingers waiting for it to end, nooooooo no no no no no), and forty-siz gazillion gags. "Iss no mine." Oh jeez, I nearly broke something laughing at this flick. We all did. Completely successful movie.

If you've already been, you know what I mean when I say, Go again.

Twice in as many days - I've NEVER done that with a movie before. I picked up more details the second time through, was able to point things out to dafydd that he hadn't gotten the first time...and there was one classic moment where we BOTH made the connection on something we'd missed the first time....

And I still need to do a Fiona costume.

I saw it this morning too, and really enjoyed it, and strongly encourage all the rest of you to do the same. I'll probably even go see it again, if only to see it at a distance of more than 10 feet. :-)

But it wasn't _nearly_ as good as the first one. I almost cried along with Shrek when he was heading back to his swamp and Fiona was going with Lord Farquaad -- I didn't see any moments like that in Shrek 2, unfortunately.

oh, how i envy you all.
Shrek 2 will come to Israel only on July 1st.
I guess the thought is "it's an animated film, and therefor a kiddies movie, so no point bringing it just yet. let's wait for summer vacation."
stupid movie distributers.
