This is too cool. As I mentioned a few weeks back, BBC Radio has begun their adaptations of the last three books in the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy series. You can listen to the most recent episode from this page, and also play the Infocom game based on the books.

I listen to the first episode this morning. Having just recently relistened to the original radio plays and watch my LD of the TV series, it was delightful.

How irritating! Infocom games aren't supposed to have PICTURES.

I love this game. I played it umpteen million times in middle school.

I *loved* that game on my C128! Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.... < looking for graph paper and pencil sharpener >

WOW! So I not only get to hear these, I get to hear them for free RIGHT NOW. Thanks a lot for the link, Tom!

I have the radio episodes and the audio books of the novels in the CD player in my bedroom...I fall asleep to them every friggin' night, hoping that someday I'll be able to recite them word-for-word from start to finish from memory.

I've still got it for the Atari 800. Never beat it.

Aurgh, I forgot to listen to the first episode while it was available, and now it's been replaced by episode 2!

Did anyone record it?
