Things You Can Do Today To Make The World Better

On a negative note, you can sign the petition to stop the Sinclair Broadcast Group from playing an obnoxious, factually discredited anti-Kerry film on its 62 stations (which reach 24% of American TVs) just before the election. On a positive note, get some great music with your activism, or some activism with your great music, at Concerts for Change.

Way to make Kansas Dems or undecideds care.. none of those concerts were anywhere really near us... We have a major problem as it is getting our younger people to vote here, because of the assumption that the state will always be republican. That it does not matter how we vote, when even the politicians know we will be a republican state.

For which I am truly sorry. In that case, though, you have to let your local Dem party know that you do want some communication. Tell 'em, "Don't just take us for granted one way or the other! Give us a reason to vote -- to vote Dem! Give us as many reasons as you've got!"

It's actually kinda reversed here -- Michigan is likely to go for Kerry, certainly Ann Arbor, and so there's much less activity here than in Ohio, which is really a battleground state.
