Living Will

I just blogged on this whole sorry Terry Schiavo mess. Because of that, I think it's an excellent time to make out a Living Will. Here's a good generic one from the Michigan Bar Association.
In case all copies of mine get lost, I, Tom Smith, do not want to be kept alive in anything like a "persistent vegetative state". Communication and awareness are of utmost importance to me, and I do not wish to be nothing more than a husk that used to make puns. If I can blink "yes" and "no" consistently, that's one thing, although I reserve the right to blink "no" in response to the question "Should we keep you alive?" I wish to be neither an emotional nor a financial burden to my family and friends, and would prefer them to remember me at my best.
Now, let's hope this isn't needed for forty years or so. :)
Update: Here's a timeline with a lot of links to a lot of information.
