We may also need to recast Wolverine...somehow, Linus competing with Schroeder for the attentions of his sister just seems wronger than wrong. Suggestions?

Linus actually has glasses, now that I think about it...so cast him as Cyclops, move Franklin in as Wolverine, I suppose.

Wait--that doesn't help. Franklin as Wolverine, sure...um. I'm not up-to-date on X-Men to figure out who Linus could be.
