Two out of three, that is.

I had a fantastic time as Filk GOH of WindyCon. And I was lucky enough to have incredible concert sets, with great audiences and a lot of energy. Two of those sets, the Friday and Saturday evening shows, are now available as Live Show downloads -- $2.99 each, or $4.99 for both. Recorded by [personal profile] sethb, these are each about 75 minutes of music and banter. Special guests for the first set include [personal profile] ericcoleman and Jason Neerenberg of Toyboat and violinist Amy McNally ([personal profile] sweetmusic_27).

Got anything new you'd like to pimp/promote? Link 'em up.

ETA: Amazing how four misplaced characters can screw things up. If your links weren't working, they should be now.

You asked for it...

Boundless Stories: http://www.boundlessstories.com/authors/

A web app for creating "Choose Your Own Adventure" stories. They're going to release an iPhone app (and then an Android app) so people can buy and play individual adventures while out and about. They just finished incorporating the skills and should have it updated soon, but you can always write an adventure without skills.

Love the discussion on the recordings of The Great Race. When I showed it to a friend in grad school, she literally spent the following week wandering around saying "A small fryer." and giggling uncontrollably.

Back in August, we took the girls to an antique auto museum. R. spotted the Hannibal 8 in the corner (along with the torpedo from early in the film) and both girls ran over as wanted to "Push the button, Max."

I'll buy them all, as soon as I can afford it. Job market looks bad until the start of the year. Maybe get myself a nice birthday present next month...

I mentioned this in the Seattle filk mailing list last night, so its going open to the public a week early (I was originally planning to post about this being available on Thanksgiving)...

Filthy Pierre gave me permission to share the .pdf of his microfilk songbook, so I have put it online for free download. (I may move it in the future to its own section, but that will not happen for a while.)
