Roger Ebert has often talked about how he wants someone to film his Movie Guide -- i.e., to make a film that contains all of the big clichés of Hollywood (the Climbing Villain, the Troops Who Can't Shoot Straight, the Car Chase Demolishing a Fruit Cart, etc.)
I'd rather see this list turned into a video game, actually.

Amongst my other current projects is a fanfic which is going to draw heavily from the Evil Overlord list (my protagonist is familiar with it... Heck, my protagonist is basically me - you see lotsa fanfic with versions of the author therein, but how many of said authors/characters are 54 years old, arthritic, married with grown offspring, and not even vaguely inclined towards romantic relationships with fictional characters? :) ) Assuming I ever actually finish it (I've only got 1 1/2 chapters done at the moment) I'll post it in my live journal.
