ARRGH! -- I Mean, Open Thread

Got back a while ago from ConFluence. Very nice time, I'll tell you more later (although all praise to Randy Hoffman for the amazing folk line-up, and to the con in general for being friendly and helpful to a fault).

Turned on computer. Computer rebooted itself endlessly. Don't know why. Blue screen of Death flashes just long enough for me to know it's there, then it reboots.

After an hour or so of misadventures, finally scrounged up an old working hard drive that has WinXp installed. Which is how I got here.

Tomorrow's gonna suck. *sigh* And I'm only halfway through HBP.

Well, now you have a face to go with the lj name, eh?

I'm very glad I finally got a chance to meet you. Now I just have to make sure that isn't the ONLY time. If you're ever in Pittsburgh, and need a place to sleep, people to hang out with, etc. - look me up.

As for the computer - *glare* You start working now, ya hear?
(It might work, it might not - my windows touch is flakey at best. Now, unix machines... heh heh.)
