DAZ Productions is offering its Daz|Studio 3D animation software for free. (In the spirit of printer cartridges, they hope to make up revenue by selling other stuff from their site.) All you have to do is [a] register with the site and [b] agree to tell two friends about it. I think this qualifies. :) Two tips: Even though it asks for a username for the forums and such, the login name is actually your e-mail address; and, once you're registered, the download links are on a page in the "My Account" section. They're only good for a few days.
