Looks like it; though it is obviously done by a different artist now than when I was growing up.

Ernie Bushmiller is long dead. The strip is now done by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. You can't predict when it's gonna actually be funny, but about five times a month seems to be the average. And it is thoroughly updated -- computers, DVDs, instant messaging. To be blunt, I have no idea what Aunt Fritzi's job is these days... but, from the way she's drawn, Turkish Harem Slave wouldn't be far off. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Way off topic, but a beautiful thing -- for some reason, Firefox just crashed. You may remember that I mentioned an extension called SessionSaver. Well, it just brought back everything, including this half-completed comment. Love love love.

This is the first time I can remember seeing Nancy and Sluggo being political. But then, I haven't seen NANCY in about 257807 years.

Hey, that is a nifty extension. Does it *alway* take you back to the page you left, or only on crashes? More the the point, is it configurable? :)

Guy Gilchrist hangs out from time to time on rec.arts.comics.strips. He's a really nice guy.

Very easy to configure. I have the first two Option boxes ticked, so that every time it opens, it asks me if I want to restore the last session. If I pick "restore", no matter what pages or how many tabs I had up, they're back. If I pick "clear", just my home page.
