I've finally, finally watched the first half of the new Battlestar Galactica miniseries.
Son of a bitch.
I'll be catching up on this as quickly as I did Firefly.

Date: 2006-04-09 02:26 am (UTC)In short, while I like the show, and it is better than the original, it's still a little flawed in my opinion, and I don't quite love it as much as a lot of other shows. That said, it's still tons better than a lot of other shows out there, and definitely worth my time. Above average, but not holy crap! amazing. ;)

Moore freely admits he frakked up mixing the definitions of the games of Pyramid & Triad [so no guys in teeny suits playing ring-around-the-rosy with a little ball], and he [thankfully!] got rid of "felgercarb" and that obnoxious daggit. But the nods are there, both subtle and sledge-hammered.
