Google Sketch-Up

If you're running XP, you can run the free Google Sketch-Up program, one of the easiest-to-use 3D programs I've ever seen. It's got video tutorials (which sadly open up an Internet Explorer window), thousands of objects, and you can view the results in Google Earth. You can also load new buildings, such as the Taj Mahal, into Google Earth. Slows things the hell down, though.

And it's going to make architects life really interesting, when clients start coming in with SketchUp models. (Yes, real architects use the pro version.)
