The intro to last night's SNL, starring our 43rd president, Al Gore. (Crooks and Liars has a download link.)

Let's toss in a little activism: the news page and blog for Gore's new film An Inconvenient Truth.

This entry might get buffed one more time -- apparently, Al stuck around to debate global warming on Weekend Update.

When the hell did Al Gore become so.....FUNNY? Are we looking at a Mad Political Scientist here? Consider this: Hillary is going to do well in NY, and she will use that as a means to get her in. Since I don't have all the facts or the dirt, it's just....

My Opinion.

I have nothing but respect for Mr. Gore. NOTHING.

SNL was funny last night. I can't remember the last laugh I had with that show. The "How to use MySpace" was a riot.

Had I known, I would have Tivo'ed SNL. Thanks for the link to the clip.

I do wish Al would run again. I even voted for him in 1988.

it was great...we sat there and debated..."is that really al gore?" "nah, it can't be...it's just a really good imitator." "i'll be damned...it really IS al gore." "maybe he's going to give up politics and be a regular on SNL"

good stuff, maynard...

It helps when his daughter is a comedy writer who has worked on shows like "Futurama".

Not to mention the episode he did for Futurama where he was the leader of a Space/Time Police Force.

I voted for him in 2000, I would do it today in a New York minute.

For a second, I thought it was Darrell Hammond (he's imitated Gore before). Then I went "Oh no! That's actually Gore!" It was pretty funny.
