Booya!!

"Sentencing was set for the week of Sept. 11." Somehow I find that ironically significant. "Amusing" is not quite the right word.

And now begins the appeals process wherein the lawyers say "See? We told you we couldn't get a fair trial in Houston!" And the appeals court will agree and order the trial be repeated, probably in another state. By the time that trial ends in Guilty and all the guaranteed appeals are over, both of them will be living in the Netherlands.

"Swept?" I realize "early this decade" is over, but using the past tense in regards to corporate fraud seems a bit premature.

The only way he'd ever do that is if he feels very secure in his position as Emperor for Life after cancelling the 2008 elections in response to the nuclear attacks on Washington (that he was conveniently out of town for) and New York.

Shame on Skilling and Lay, to cost our society so much in lost treasure and good people's time.

Shame.

May they never know Happiness again in their lives.
