Misc. Update

Still not sure what's up with the external drive. The darn thing's taking a long time to map. I'm fairly confident it will all work out... but I don't like waiting.

In other fronts, I learned a couple of Band In A Box tricks that I like a lot. You'll be hearing those in the next few weeks. :)

Sounds to me like either:

1) someone made a mistake, and others perpetuated the mistake thinking it was an actual mandate (personally seen this happen in conventions five times)

2) somebody got into a position of power for the first time and let their personal prejudices run rampant (personally seen this happen in conventions six times)

3) what sounded like a good idea at the con meeting turned out to be either a really bad idea or badly implemented (personally seen this happen in conventions three times)

Considering this is a weekend, I wouldn't expect it to be cleared up until tuesday or thursday at the latest, so put those molotov cocktails aside for now. How this matter is settled will demonstrate the integrity of the con committee (or lack thereof) and the degree of retaliations should be adjusted then.

Of course, it could just be that LACon thinks there aren't enough fan protest songs and did this to get those creative juices flowing ;-)
