As a li'l kid, I woulda probably wanted the male version. Not because of my religion (I'm Muslim), or because it would have kept away fears, but DUDE, ARMOR YOU CAN SLEEP IN!
Bedtime would have been a lot more fun.
Of course, when I look at it now, it's creepifying.
