Even if they don't listen, you have an obligation to speak out.

What would you do if I told you that every lumpy uncles out there were going to follow your lead and either shut up or speak out? Would you want all of them to shut up? But each of them is sitting in his chair thinking "any objections I might state would only get drowned out" just like you are.

So speak up, if only to let the other uncles know that they wouldn't be alone if they spoke up.
