Maybe I'm really quick, but the Listen link wasn't working. Downloading the song was fine though.

You also might have missed this nice little gem. The House bill that was passed has this nice little clause that pardon's all torture acts conducted by the Bush Administration from 9/11/01 and on.

Hmm. I feel kinda stupid for admitting this, but I don't quite get what the "Happy Conception Day" song is trying to get across. I see that it's indicating "this is what might happen in a dystopian future if the religious right gets their way"...but I don't understand what's being indicated.

It is giving people a day to commemorate their conception as more important than birth, as a mockery of the heavy prolifers that insist life begins at conception.

Conception day is about making the day you came out of your mother, less important than the day your father came in her. If they push back the onset of 'human' protections to the unborn, then any kind of abortion, even for rape, incest, or the health of the mother! can be forbidden.
